BBC Radio Suffolk interviewed her for their feature on Hadleigh back in May and now Mandy Phillips owner of The Old Bakery Emporium on Hadleigh's High Street is taking up the challenge this weekend and opening on a Sunday.
Back in May, Mark Murphy's breakfast show interviewed Chamber of Commerce chairman Sean Garnham and then visited Hadleigh High Street where Mandy shared a powerful opinion on how the High Street could become more accessible to a wider audience and must employ modern tactics such as Sunday trading to offer more flexibility to the customers visiting the town.
Since then, the topic has received debate on social media and in the press with some wholly against the spectacle of a 7 day trading period, whilst others fully welcoming the move to a more progressive and flexible High Street in Hadleigh.
Sunday trading is one option Hadleigh has to inviting more custom to it's High Street, and the Chamber of Commerce is fully behind it's evolution - for more information please read our Chairmans view here
