New Committee for 2013

I know a lot of people were unable to get to the Annual General Meeting in November so we have published Roger Bannister's Presidents report on the website which includes an update on some of the projects and plans for 2013.

Roger's two years in the hot seat were event filled and we'd like to thank him for all the time and patience he has put in. Can't have been that bad though as he "volunteered" again for the Committee for another two year (minimum) sentence.

Sadly we have lost a couple of other people from the committee this year with Jonathan Rands stepping down after his exceptional work organising our monthly breakfast and quarterly lunch meetings at the Eight Bells and Bildeston Crown respectively.

Jane Haylock has also stepped down as a full Chamber committee member but has kindly offered to remain co-opted for the High Street projects, notably the loyalty card which has recently kicked off.

Darrell Thompson has really organised us in the past and run some very successful May Shows. She has stepped down from full Committee involvement and we are hoping that her commitments will allow her time to get involved in this year's show as a co-opted member. Thanks again Darrell
