EADT BUSINESS AWARDS: Has your business reduced crime or fear of crime in Suffolk?

31st March 2015

A message on behalf of Tim Passmore - The Police & Crime Commissioner for Suffolk

I’m sponsoring the EADT’s Business Awards community safety and crime prevention category again this year to highlight the excellent work being carried out across the county to support community safety and crime prevention.

I am looking forward to recognising the achievements of an individual, group or business that has made an outstanding contribution to community safety and crime prevention in Suffolk.

I will be looking for projects that meet some, or all, of the following challenges: reducing crime and/or the fear of crime, the rehabilitation of offenders, applications of technology for crime solving and detection, road safety initiatives, dealing with alcohol and drugs/night-time and visitor economy, and innovative ways of fighting business crime, such as cyber, fraud and e-crime.

Please have a think how your business could apply for this award. I hope entries will reflect the challenges that businesses have overcome to support community safety and highlight the innovative way that crime is being tackled in the county.

Is your business reducing crime or improving safety in Suffolk? If so, we want to know, please click on the logo to enter

I look forward to receiving entries very soon,  the deadline is April 22, 2015
