The next Hadleigh Business Breakfast is on Friday 19th May, from 7.45 - 8.45am at The Hadleigh Ram.
This month, we will be joined by Duncan Brodie, Business Editor of the East Anglian Daily Times and Hadleigh Resident. Duncan will speak on his thoughts on Hadleigh, it's High Street and views for its future.
Duncan Brodie - Business Editor, East Anglian Daily Times
Duncan Brodie was born in Bury St Edmunds and was educated at Ixworth Primary, Ixworth Middle and Thurston Upper schools before graduating from Reading University in 1981 with a BA (Hons) degree in history. He joined the EADT as a trainee reporter.
Duncan first joined the business desk in 1985 and remained there until being appointed news editor for the Essex edition.1994 he moved back to the business desk in Ipswich, taking over as business editor later that year.
Duncan has been a resident of Hadleigh for 31 years. His interests include history, Welsh narrow gauge railways, Liverpool Football Club and real ale, not necessarily in that order. He is married to Amanda, also a journalist, and they have a 15-year-old son, Jack.
